AFS is please to announce the introduction of the OM150A for FTTx, CATV and general purpose applications with calibrated wavelength at 850/1300/1310/1490/1550 and 1625nm. The OM150A will probably be the only meter that you will ever need! The OM150A utilizes a filtered InGaAs photo diode that is potted in a aluminum detector housing for high optical power heat dispersion.
This Ruggised optical power meter is the ideal tool for measuring optical power of both multimode and single mode applications. When used with an LED source or a laser source the AF-OM150A can be used to measure insection loss (attenuation) in both multimode and single mode fiber optic cables. The AF-OM120A power meter offers Set Reference, Single mode and multimode wavelengths, dBm/W readout, 0.01dB resolution and auto power off setting.
This unit features a 5 button control panel - ON/OFF, Wavelength, dBm/dB, Zero ref and back light. This easy-to-use power meter also features a 128x64 graphical display with added illustrations should as displaying the zero reference absolute value when reading in db and a full testing guide (zero referencing, single ended testing and double ended testing).
All power meter detectors are potted in a threaded housing enabling adapter versatility. All power meters come standard with 2.5mm universal adapters (AD-100).
